Norah Brennan spent the first half of her working life as a Catering Manager but in 2007 she returned to college to pursue her passion for art.  In GMIT's Cluain Mhuire campus she was introduced to and fell in love with Printmaking and all of its processes. She graduated in 2011 with a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art, Printmaking and was awarded the Student of the Year, Printmaking Prize as well as the Lorg Fine Art Printmakers Annual Bursary.

She has exhibited in Ireland as well as at group exhibitions in Australia, France and the UK. Her work is in the collections of the National University of Ireland Galway, Roscommon County Council and private collectors.

Norah’s images are "drawn from memory and emotion, influenced by the present as much as by the past. Colour is paramount and abstraction allows her to work instinctively, while the constraints of the printmaking processes enforce regular introspection and mental redrafting."
