What is the driving force behind our compulsion to twist and alter the natural. Why do we place order among nature and force our environment into a controlled state? My theme explores the human desire to transform, rearrange and reposition the organic into a series of contrasting contexts.

My work explores the relationship between humans and their fellow species. Animals have always been a source of inspiration to me in a number of different ways. I suppose what I intended to do in this particular body of work was to reveal their simple most basic forms; the skeleton, the muscles and organs. All mammals have this in common, including homo-sapiens. This serves as a basic reminder that we really are not that different on a fundamental level.
